A TV show as unique as the people it’s about.

Tune in Thursday, January 24th at 9pm to see the premiere of Episode 3!

If you have people working for you, or are part of a working team, or
have sought employment at some point in your career this TV series is
for you. It is for those who know they have something great to offer
but may be perceived as different from the rest.

Able Lives Incorporated is a five-part television series looking at
issues of work for people with disabilities. Able Lives Incorporated
seeks to reach employers, co-workers, people with disabilities, and
their families about the potential employee who was once
overlooked…that is until now.

This series will:

1) Examine the universality of disability and its part in diversity in the workforce;

2) Provide information and resources to employers and persons with disabilities; and

3) Review public policy and discuss systemic change to better address the needs of employees with disabilities.

Able Lives Incorporated is a combination of a documentary and a
magazine format – or a “docuzine.” Each topical episode contains 3-4
story segments. Visible and hidden disabilities across genders and
throughout the lifespan will be addressed.

This series is paid for by a Medicaid Infrastructure Grant to the
Bureau of Rehabilitation Services and administered by Mintz and Hoke in
partnership with Connecticut Public Television; produced by Borres
Productions.
