Michael Adamczyk is 17 years old.  He has two older sisters, and two younger sisters.  He attends Whitney High School in Hamden. He is a very good student.   He is a gold medal champion swimmer and bowler for the Ansonia Valley YMCA Special Olympic teams.   He is an active member of the YMCA, playing basketball, racquetball, and volunteering at such activities as their annual Easter and Halloween parties.   He is also a member of the Dolphins swim team in Pennsylvania, where he enjoys fishing, camping and boating on weekends at Lake Adventure during the warm months. Michael is a very active member of his church, St. Thomas the Apostle, in Oxford.  He volunteers in his community whenever possible.   Michael is not only a member of CT-KASA (Kids As Self Advocates) but also has a job as Youth Organizer.  He participates in speaking engagements throughout the State of Connecticut on self-advocacy.  Michael is an inspiration to all who meet him.
