Dr. Mary Siegel is an expert on the challenges faced by people with
hidden disabilities because she lived through the experience. A
ballerina, Mary began to notice changes in her body which were the
early signs of MS, but it took years for her to receive a diagnosis.
She tells us that people with invisible illnesses are more likely to
experience difficulty with diagnosis, treatment, and adjustments at
work. Mary had to reinvent her career. She received a Ph.D. and has written Sick and Tired of Feeling Sick and Tired one of the leading books on hidden disability. Mary's Book
