Armand Legault is a retired State of Connecticut Tax Audit Supervisor and is a governor-appointed member of the Connecticut Council on Developmental Disabilities. He currently volunteers as President of the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Northern Connecticut Chapter, as a Member of Executive Board of Oak Hill School for the Blind and on the Advisory Board of New England Assistive Technology Market Place, among many others.

His achievements include: Winner of the National Achievement Award, issued by the National Muscular Dystrophy Association, The Governor of the State of Connecticut Proclaiming September 7, 1992, "Armand Legault Day," and inventing a "Joy Stick" driving equipment enabling himself and several others to drive vehicles without the use of steering wheels. Armand has never walked and his disability is classified as Muscular Dystrophy, SMA2. He was recently married to his lovely wife, Debbie, and he enjoys ballroom dancing and lighthouse bluffs.
